about
The song is about trips I've made not long ago to Prague and Rome as well as Moscow. It is about the things, the colours, the sounds, the smells, the memories you collect of a country, of a place, of its language, its culture... and how you make them part of yourself.
I imagined us, people, being living houses of postcards, walking without destination and endlessly collecting those beautiful memories of the places we visit.
Be it the wonderful Prague, the tremendously beautiful Rome or the super inspiring Moscow I took some of those places with me. And I carry them with me day by day. I hope you'll enjoy listening to this song with that experience in mind.
lyrics
When the moment arrives I'll be ready
The two-sided tears in my eyes will never leave me
The streets rise as a unison choir over my body
Peace strives to make its voice heard among the living
I'll stay put or take a leap through time if you trust me
The wind blows on the flanks of my life, I'm finally sighted
This house of postcards has no receiver
All the places from Prague to Rome
Are all the places you now call home
Let us hope, let us go, let us gather again
Let us feel, let us breathe, we'll live happily then
Your faith will be traveling by if you let it
While people in overcrowded cars will become hopeless
This house of postcards has no receiver
All the places from Prague to Rome
Are all the places you now call home
This house of postcards has no receiver
All the places from Moscow to Rome
Are all the places you now call home
