about
The Naked Eye is about the invisible pain, the things we're not ready to show to others but that are present in our everyday life. It's about trying to live with everybody else's difficult experiences in mind. It's also about telling our younger self that we've finally come to love them and that at some point, we'll be able to show our true soul again.
lyrics
Everyday it feels like I'm not ready
I've let myself be in the way of me
I've been afraid to cross my own way
And to not have the right words to say
I've got many thoughts to dedicate
To a younger me I loved too late
At the right time I'll be prepared
To manifest my soul repaired
Everything I've left behind is here
Everything I've cared about is here
All these things are part of me
Everything just seems more real to the naked eye
Everyday it feels like I'm not ready
I have come to hate the pain that they can't see
I've hidden in plain sight, made my silhouette fade away
I have loved the nights and feared the light of day
In all the time I've been incomplete
There's no escape to what is at my feet
